This project is in response to local gardening experts who wanted a way to spread the word about a nontoxic, organic, pollinator-safe way to control mosquito populations using BTi, a naturally occurring bacteria that only affects mosquito larvae. The “doom bucket” movement combines an online shop with supplies bought in bulk to reduce costs and only available for local delivery via electric vehicle, to a growing array of community education materials to encourage wider uptake.
